Summary: The In-person Hybrid Schedule is predicated on the Riverside County COVID 19 metrics specified in the California Blueprint for a Safer Economy. Currently the Riverside County metrics for COVID 19 continue to increase in new cases, adjusted cases, and positivity rates. With this information, the district staff requests Board approval to start the In-person Hybrid Schedule in alignment with the timeline followed by the California Blueprint for a Safer Economy.

The Board is also requested to have a discussion on the mask requirements for students. Currently the guidance from Riverside University Public Health (RUPH) is for students in grades three through twelve to wear masks. Based on feedback from the surveys, the Board is asked to consider requiring all students returning for In-person Hybrid Schedule to wear masks.
